Itinerary

Day 1 (Sat) | Arrival in Madrid

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Rest of the day free. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2 (Sun) | Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, panoramic tour of the city; we will contemplate its medieval origins as an Arab fortress, visiting the Morería neighborhood, characterized by its ancient buildings and the flavors of its taverns; we will tour the courtly Madrid of the Habsburgs, characterized by Philip II and his Renaissance and Baroque buildings in Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa; we will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban layout of Charles III, the Royal Palace, the Cibeles and Neptune fountains, and the Puerta de Alcalá; We will admire 19th-century works such as the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum. We will discover contemporary Madrid with avenues such as Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, Barrio de Salamanca, Parque del Oeste, the shopping and financial districts of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 3. (Mon) | Madrid – Córdoba – Seville

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure southward through the land of Don Quixote, "The Man of La Mancha," passing by the typical Don Quixote inn in Puerto Lápice. Through the natural pass of "Despeñaperros" we arrive in Andalusia, a region with an enormous heritage from a splendid past.

Arrival in Córdoba. Visit its impressive Mosque/Cathedral, which will relax our minds and spirits as we stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short journey of about two hours, arrival in Seville.

Day 4. (Tue) | Seville

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, visit the city's monuments and enjoy panoramic views, including admission to the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. Visit the typical Santa Cruz neighborhood, the natural setting of "Carmen" and the place where the myth of "Don Juan" developed. Visit María Luisa Park and Plaza de España.

Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and flavors specific to this lively city full of light.

Day 5. (Wed) | Seville - Granada

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure eastward via the Caliphate route to the heart of Andalusia, observing an endless number of olive trees. Arrival in Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental surroundings, the last bastion of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492.

Visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and the Generalife Gardens, with fountains, gardens, and courtyards whose sights and sounds have inspired authors such as Washington Irving in his Tales of the Alhambra.

Day 6. (Thu) | Granada

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day to enjoy the Nasrid capital. Granada is more than just the Alhambra; the Muslim heritage permeates every corner of the city and blends with Christian tradition, giving rise to a unique city.

Day 7. (Fri) | Granada – Toledo – Madrid

Departure northbound towards Madrid.
