Discover the best Montreal has to offer on this sightseeing tour with a professional guide. Enjoy a journey through time from French and English colonization to the present day. We begin our panoramic tour in the English-speaking neighborhood of Westmount, the Oratory of St. Joseph, and Mount Royal Park with its spectacular view of the city. We will walk through the park to the Chalet de la Montagne viewpoint, weather permitting; otherwise, we will visit the Belvedere viewpoint.
We continue to the Golden Square Mile, McGill University, the financial district, Canada Place, and the Catholic Cathedral of Mary, Queen of the World. We continue to Old Montreal, passing through Queen Victoria Square and skirting the perimeter of Old Montreal and the Old Port, then on to Place d’Armes to visit Notre-Dame Basilica (admission NOT included). We’ll walk to City Hall, where Jacques Cartier Square is located—the tourist heart of Old Montreal—where you’ll have time for lunch before continuing on to Ottawa. On the way, we’ll stop at Parc Omega, where you’ll have the opportunity to see Canada’s wildlife up close. After Parc Omega, we’ll continue to Ottawa.

We begin our tour of Canada’s capital city by visiting Parliament Hill (in summer, we’ll see the Changing of the Guard), residential neighborhoods, the Prime Minister’s and Governor General’s mansions, the ambassadors’ residences, the Supreme Court, and other points of interest. After lunch (not included), we’ll head to Brockville to enjoy a short cruise through the Thousand Islands on the St. Lawrence River. This region is where the popular Thousand Islands dressing was created, and it’s also one of Eastern Canada’s favorite tourist destinations. The cruise, which lasts approximately 1 hour, offers spectacular panoramic views of the area and provides information on the region’s history, legends, and people.
